I've indentified consciously as a submissive for nearly 12 years, when I found the term for what I liked, and a whole group of people who liked it, too. Before I found "BDSM", I looked for "dominant" men, and continued to find either arrogance or men with controlling natures (and not in a good way!). It wasn't until after I had met and married my ex-husband, who was neither of these things - in fact, he was quite submissive looking back on it - that I began to see the error of my ways. Shortly thereafter, I found BDSM.
A little philosophy...Kanthra Adaire is now the name I publish my poetry and fiction under (See Screaming Inside)
There are always lessons to be learned - in each moment of each day, there are things to be experienced. When you let those moments pass by, either out of fear, or lack of conviction, you are only cheating yourself.
The best advice I have ever been given - is to live in each day as if it were your last.
My blogger - This blogger contains many of my philosophies, ideas, views and experiences. I try to write in it as often as I can - some days are better than others.
